Evening Prayer – 13 June 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a day of training and meetings

It has been a day of study and preparation for a General Assembly

The PC(USA) will meet to study, discern, work, and pray

The world also invaded as we attended Active Shooter Training

So much fear… hatred… violence…

Lord, as I reflect and pray this evening

I also mourn the loss of dear friends and family to so many

How do we continue to witness

Witness to your love…

Witness to your mercy…

Witness to your hope…

Witness to your grace…

Witness to your peace…

Lord, guide us through the Valley

Lord, make us your instruments

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
