Evening Prayer – 8 June 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long day of travel for a dear friend

Safely in the mountains

Even as we had good fellowship my heart ached

Lord, you know the groaning deep within

When we don’t know what to say

Your Spirit intercedes

When the ache is too deep

Your healing balm comforts

Be with those who struggle in the Valley of the Shadows

In your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
