The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A difficult and emotionally draining day

Lord, as we continue to mourn

As my Dad continues to grieve deeply

Words fail

I don’t know what to pray or say

In these moments you promise to hear

You hear even the deepest groaning of our soul

For my Dad

For our family

Hear this humble and heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
