The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of care-taking and love

A day of prayer and remembrance

A time of mourning and laughter

A time to reflect and prepare

Lord, in the in-between you meet us

Lord, in the midst of contemplation you reach out

In the midst of the chaos, you shelter us

In the midst of it all, you walk with us

In your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
