Evening Prayer – 30 April 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

On this Bealtaine eve the candle flickers

On this day my Celtic Ancestors welcomed Summer

Our Lady sheds her winter coat

She embraces the freshness of summer

This Native Mother and Storyteller speaks

She speaks of the beauty of creation

She speaks of hope in the midst of darkness

She gathers her children around her

She speaks of love and life and light

Speak to us, Lord, of such things

Speak to us of love and light and hope

Speak to us of peace and comfort

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
