Evening Prayer – 6 April 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a day of snow and relaxation

It has been a time of reflection

It has been a time of fellowship

It has also been a time to contemplate

In my heart I walk with so many

As they journey through the Valley of the Shadows

As we journey with St Francis of Assisi

As we journey with our Lord

As the Poverelo said

Praised by You, my Lord, through our Sister Bodily Death,

From whom no one living can escape

Yet my brother teaches through his own experience

As he walks this journey through the Valley

He reveals to us how to live and love

He guides us along Grace Street

This night I pray for Jeff and those who love him

I pray for those who are walking with him

In your mercy, hear my prayer for all of us

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
