Evening Prayer – 5 April 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of reflection and study

A time of fellowship with dear friends

An evening birthday celebration

Yet in the midst of it all, sorrow comes

As we continue to walk through the Valley of the Shadows

We pause to ask for your light to shine

For those who watch or wait or weep this night

For my Air Force Thunderbird family who mourns

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
