Evening Prayer – 3 April 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Hospitalizations and life changes

Giving away beloved pets

Saying farewell to a wee child far too soon

While life goes on for so many

Many more live in the Valley of the Shadows

While some only see darkness

Others see hope and grace even while facing death

While we mourn what could have been

We are called to embrace and live in the now

Life can be messy and painful

Life can be amazing and full

Help us to live and love fully in the present moment

In the midst of it all, Lord hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
