The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

On this Monday of Holy Week

Time spent in reflection

Time spent in preparation

Gathered around the Lord’s Table

Gathered for fellowship and a meal

In all of these activities, you were present, Lord

Holding in my heart those who walk through the Valley of the Shadows

Holding in my heart those who mourn

Holding in my heart those who are in Hospice Care

Holding in my heart those who are in need of healing

Holding in my heart those who wander in darkness

The darkness of anxiety

The darkness of depression

The darkness of fear

The darkness of warfare

So much darkness, Lord

Let your light shine in the darkness

Equip us to be your light bearers

As we walk this journey with you

Lord in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
