Evening Prayer – 24 March 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long and exhausting day of travel is finished

Even as we collapse, we give thanks

Thanks for safe travels

Thanks for the support and love of so many

Thanks for our home and our own bed

Even as we give thanks, we pray

For all those who mourn that they might be comforted

For both of our Fathers who are grieving

For family and friends who miss our Mothers

As we prepare for Holy Week

May your Spirit guide us and sustain us

In your mercy, Lord, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
