Evening Prayer – 21 March 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been another day on the journey

Walking with family through grief

Yet in the midst of it we took a break

Spending time in Muscle Shoals

Exploring musical roots and history

Stories, laughter, and reflection

We were at the birthplace of so much music

Music that speaks to a generation and our soul

As family continues to gather

Lord, grant safe travel to all

As we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

Continue to bring your comfort, Lord

In your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
