Evening Prayer – 13 March 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Lord, another difficult day is ending

While there have been many stories shared

While there has been laughter

While there have been many tender moments

There has also been a deep mourning

There have also been tears

As we literally watch this night with Jeanne

May your Holy Angels guard us

Each one lost in their own thoughts

Each one going deeply within

Lord, we pray for your healing and loving touch

God be with us in the night of watching

God be with us in the night of tears

God be with us every step of the way

God be with us in the Valley of the Shadows

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
