Evening Prayer – 11 March 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A time of worship on this Lord’s day

Meeting old friends

Spending time sharing stories with family

Remembering and celebrating life

Even as we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

Life goes on and yet for us it doesn’t

Remembering as well my parent’s 65th Wedding Anniversary

In the midst of it all, Lord, you meet us

In the midst of it all, we feel your love

In the midst of it all, we find your comfort

Lord, as the night descends

Keep watch over those who work or watch or weep this night

Give your Holy Angels over those who sleep

Tend the sick, Lord Christ

Give rest to the weary

Bless the dying

Soothe the suffering

All for your love’s sake

In your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
