Reflection – Watching & Waiting

This has been a season of watching and waiting.

This has been a season of walking through the Valley of the Shadows.

This has been a season of reflecting on one’s own mortality.

This has been a season of loss and grief.

This has been a season of cloudy days.

Yet this has also been a season of joy.

A season of new found friends.

A season of answers to hopes and dreams.

A season of healing and recovery.

So as I sit on the patio at my in-laws reflecting on these seasons I pray.

Lord, let your light shine even in the darkness.

Lord, continue to walk with those I love through the Valleys of life.

Lord, to you I continue to lift my prayer in hope and faith and assurance.
