Evening Prayer – 27 February 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As night descends

As sleep makes eyelids heavy

We ask you, O Lord

Grant rest to the weary

Comfort for those who wait and watch by hospital bedsides

Your assurance for those who live in fear

Your presence with those who walk through the Valley of the Shadows

For all of your children, we lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
