Evening Prayer – 1 February 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of ministry, reflection, and prayer

A day also of fellowship with beloved friends

As the Psalmist said

I lift up my eyes to the hills

From where will my help come?

You called me to the Mountains, Lord

To reflect upon the beauty of your creation

To simply be still and know

For dear friends and fellowship, thank you

For my beloved wife and partner, thank you

For the opportunity to serve, thank you

For all of your children, I lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
