The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Thinking of you today, Mom

Thinking of Dad as well as he mourns

Thankful for so many who walk this journey with us

As we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

In the midst of our mourning

Reminders of your presence, Lord

Reminders of your love, Lord

Reminders that we never walk alone

Make us lie down in green pastures, Lord

Lead us beside still waters, Lord

Restore our soul

On this night I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
