The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Watching and waiting

Listening and discerning

In the midst of the chaos of politics

In the midst of greed and bigotry

In the midst of hatred and all manner of phobias

Lord, let your voice be heard

A voice that cries out on behalf of the oppressed

A voice that cries out on behalf of the widows and orphans

A voice that cries out for the oppressed and the aliens

Lord, may we hear your voice and respond

Lord, may we be your voice, your light, your love

Until justice flows down like water and righteousness like an ever flowing stream

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
