Evening Prayer – 12 December 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of meetings, ministry, reflection, prayer

Also a time of fellowship, encouragement, laughter

In the midst of it all, Lord, your light shines

A reminder that darkness cannot overcome light

As John reminds us: light shines in the darkness

Yet the darkness has not overcome it

For this reminder, Lord, I thank you

For your presence, Lord, I thank you

In your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
