Evening Prayer – 6 December 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of rest and recuperation

A time of reflection and tears

A time of reminders of the importance of family

A time to give thanks for our spiritual family

Those who walk this journey of life with us

So many don’t have such a family

So many don’t realize how easy it is to love

So many, Lord, who need such love and compassion

In a world filled with hatred, mistrust, ignorance, and greed

Help us to love, Lord

Help us to love

In your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
