Evening Prayer – 30 November 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As we left my father today, many tears were shed

He is with people who love and care for him

This reminder from our Communion table is poignant

A reminder of your Command to love, Lord

A reminder of the Communion of Saints

Of those who are in our hearts as well as in our midst

As we head back to our own home and Community of Faith

Reminds us, Lord, of our universal connection in you

Let your light shine in the darkness

Let the light of Christ guide us through the storm

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
