Evening Prayer – 29 November 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Another day of ups and downs concludes

Final preparations are made before heading home

So much has been accomplished by so many

Truly the family of Christ has been a tremendous blessing

You have surrounded us with so much love

Yet there is still so much to do as we continue the journey

Lord, for my Dad, I pray for your peace

I ask for your grace as he rides the waves of his emotions

For Denise and for me as we begin the journey home

I pray for your respite, healing, refreshment, and peace for us all

As we continue to walk through the Valley of the Shadows, Lord

Grant us an extra measure of your strength

Dona Nobis Pacem
