Evening Prayer – 26 November 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

How can November be almost over, Lord

What a journey through the Valley of the Shadows this has been

Not only for my own family, Lord

But also for dear friends

Through ups and downs, you have sustained us

As we walk together, we thank you

For your love, your presence, your grace

As we have cried, shouted, screamed

You have held us, Lord

Not a word of judgment or disappointment

Only words of grace, peace, and kindness

As I prepare for rest, Lord, hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
