The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

While the rest of the country goes mad on Black Friday

While consumer and corporate greed goes wild

Some of us walked through the Valley of the Shadows

Surrounded by a Cloud of Witnesses

Surrounded by the love and support of a Community of Faith

What is important, Lord?

Not greed or material possessions

Not the latest fad or gadget or toy

What is important, Lord?

One word — Love

Walk with us, Lord, through the Valley

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
