Evening Prayer – 22 November 2017
The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
A day of incredible emotions
A time of deep grief and loss
Yet also a time of laughter and smiles as we remember
The sun rose today as it always does
With the promise that hope is always present
The sun rose as Mom’s spirit broke free
The earthly body will return to dust
The God-breathed spirit will continue on
Lord, as we walk through the Valley of the Shadows
Comfort and sustain us
In your mercy, hear this prayer
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
