Evening Prayer – 31 October 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long day’s journey on this All Hallows’ Eve

Even though we walk through the Valley of the Shadows 

We will fear no evil for you are with us, Lord

Trick or Treaters in the Hospital made me smile

A certain joy in the midst of the uncertainty 

Surrounded as well by the spirit of the Poverello

Surrounded by the spirit of gentleness and peace

Surrounded as we pray, Lord, for your guidance

Surrounded as we pray, Lord, for your strength 

Surrounded as we pray, Lord, for your presence 

Surrounded as we pray, Lord, for your peace 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
