Evening Prayer – 24 October 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long and exhausting day of travel and meetings

Yet also a time of wonderful fellowship and conversation 

Thank you, Lord, for the silver linings

Thank you, Lord, for your presence in the struggle

Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to serve

As I look at this nation and world

With so much division, animosity, and fear-mongering 

To you, Lord, I lift my humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
