Evening Prayer – 16 October 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of ministry and travel and reflection 

A time to consider the hectic pace of life

A time for brief moments of stillness and prayer 

A time for reading and reflection

A time to prepare for opportunities to serve

A time to simply be still and know

Lord, thank you for speaking in the stillness 

Lord, thank you for your gentle leading

Lord, thank you for your healing presence 

To you, O Lord, I lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
