Evening Prayer – 7 October 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long day is done, Lord

Saying farewell to two dear souls

Spending some time with family & friends

Spending a lot of time reflecting

How does one preach in the wake of horrific violence 

How does one respond to rabid xenophobia 

How does one respond to irrational fear

How does one respond to paranoia and hatred 

Lord, these questions keep me up at night

For this Padre, for all of your children, I pray

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
