Evening Prayer – 6 October 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of welcoming family into our home

A time of work and laughter and fellowship

A time of regathering family we have made

Tomorrow we will say farewell to dear and precious ones who became family

Tomorrow we will worship

Tomorrow we will sing

Tomorrow we will pray

Tomorrow we will weep as well as laugh

For the gifts of life and love and faith

We thank you, dear and precious Lord

Walk with us through the Valley of the Shadows 

Walk with us and show us the way to healing and peace

For those who work or watch or weep this night we pray

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
