Evening Prayer – 1 October 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Gathering around the Lord’s Table 

A reminder of the connection we have around the world

A time of prayer and reflection 

A time of spiritual nourishment 

As we pray for a world in darkness and danger

As we pray for those consumed by hatred and fearmongering 

As we seek to lift the light of God’s love

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
