Evening Prayer – 30 September 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As night falls and sleep beckons

I lift this simple prayer 

For those suffering the ravages of natural disasters 

For those suffering the ravages of illness and disease 

For those suffering the ravages of humankind’s inhumanity towards another

For those who wander and seek your healing presence, Lord 

For all I lift this simple prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
