Reflection & Evening Prayer – 14 September 2017

When you walk through the Valley of the Shadows it exacts a toll… on the person who is dealing with illness, disease, Hospice, impending death… on their family members and loved ones the toll is different and yet equally hard… on the community which walks with the person and the family, the toll hits hard… in the midst of it all, we lift our humble prayer…

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Yea though we walk through the Valley of the Shadows 

We will fear no evil, for you are with us, Lord

Your presence comforts us

Walk with us, Lord 

Comfort and Guide us, Lord

Sustain and Strengthen us, Lord

In your mercy, hear our prayer

A prayer from the depths of our soul

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace 

A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre…
