Evening Prayer – 10 September 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of prayer and worship

Contemplating transforming Swords into Plowshares

Sharing life stories with dear friends who are family

Time to relax and time to pray

Thinking of those in the path of the storm

Hurricanes and storms of their own making

And as we contemplate, we pray

For reconciliation 

For justice with compassion

For equal treatment

For the peace which passes all understanding 

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
