Evening Prayer – 3 September 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As the shadows lengthened and the moon began to rise

Thoughts turned to those I love 

Blessed are those who mourn

May they shall be comforted 

Blessed are those who are injured

May they find healing

Blessed are those who walk through the Valley of the Shadows

May they feel your presence 

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
