Evening Prayer – 25 August 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of reflection

A day of wondering 

A day of mourning

Time spent with a very dear friend

Time spent in the midst of creation’s beauty

As I ponder the precious nature of life

As  I ponder the beauty of friendship 

As I seek your healing presence

As I contemplate your calling

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
