Evening Prayer – 24 August 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted

A community continues to grieve this night, Lord

We seek your presence, your light, your love

Even though we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

We will fear no evil, for you are with us

Your rod and your staff, they comfort us

Speak your word of love and presence, Lord

Hear the cries and groans of our hearts

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
