Evening Prayer – 22 August 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Another full day of hospital and emergency care

While parts of the world seem to go mad

While politicians posture and act the fool

Closer to home hearts are aching

Lives are changing

Challenges overwhelm

For the dear ones we walk with, Lord

Grant an extra measure of your encouragement 

Grant them an extra measure of your grace

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
