Evening Prayer – 27 July 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of reflection, family, and friends

A day of worry and prayer for those who suffer

A day of worry and prayer for the marginalized and disenfranchised 

A time to pray for national leaders who have lost the plot

Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me….Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me. (Matthew 25:40, 45)

Help us to remember who is our/your family

Whom you have created in YOUR image, not ours

For your entire family, Lord, I lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
