Evening Prayer – 20 July 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Tonight I am thinking of dear Sisters

One who misses her children dearly

One who is opening an orphanage for those in need in her home country 

One who is serving once again in the midst of violence and fear

One who serves those who are in need of extra care at the end of their lives 

With nurturing and loving hearts

Like the Mama duck who protects her young 

Cover them, Lord, in your peace

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us/Them Peace
