Evening Prayer – 17 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of reflection, photography, and quiet

A time to contemplate difficult experiences 

A time to hold dear ones in my heart 

A time to reflect on Jesus sending the disciples 

No extra tunic or extra provisions

Trust in God and neighbor to provide

Lord, you call us to step out in faith

You call us to trust in the process and the journey

Even though we may traverse the Valley of the Shadows

Help us to fear no evil

Remind us that you are with us, always

As you accompany us on this journey

Hear our solemn and heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
