Evening Prayer – 13 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A beautiful afternoon with dear friends

Music, Fellowship, and Laughter

Yet in the midst of it all a reminder

There is so much suffering and pain in the world 

As my heart seeks to balance

The joy and the pain around us

The fear and the concern

Help us to see the hope and the promise

Help us to shine the light of your love in all we do

Hear us as we lift this hope-filled prayer, Lord

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
