Evening Prayer – 12 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of chaos and frustration 

Also a day of calm and relaxation 

Even in the midst of the storm, you are there

In the calm you remind us that you are with us always

Now, as I drift off into sleep

Lord, I lift this prayer for a dear friend 

May she find rest and refreshment in your loving embrace

And for her family I lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace 

Grant Them Peace
