Evening Prayer – 8 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of travel, sightseeing, and fellowship

A day of pastoral care over the phone

A time with military sisters and brothers to mourn and say farewell

A day of mixed emotions and flashbacks

Through it all, Lord, you were present 

Thank you, Lord, for that gift of love

Now, as eyelids grow heavy

Hear this evening prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
