Evening Prayer – 18 May 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

The snow continues to fall

Thankfully those in need are sheltered and warm

A day of pastoral work even in the storm

Thankful for a caring and compassionate community

Law Enforcement, Red Cross, & Crossroads Ministry 

So many who deeply care about community

Church members who reach out with love and compassion 

This night, O Lord, watch over and protect

Your children of all ages, especially the vulnerable 

For your creation, I lift this humble and heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
