Evening Prayer – 9 May 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

In the busyness of the day 

When you move from one meeting to the next 

At times like that, Lord, your still, small voice beckons

Even in the midst of busyness, you spoke

In the words of a prayer

In a shared story

In a devotional time

Even in the midst of the meetings themselves 

Thank you, Lord, for being ever present

Thank you, Lord, for those reminders

Now, as the quiet descents

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
