Evening Prayer – 4 May 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

When you don’t know what to say

When you see so many struggling to find hope

When you see elected leaders turn their backs on the people

It is then that we fall on our knees

Not with pious platitudes or empty phrases 

But with groans too deep for words

It is then, O Lord, that we lift our earnest plea

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
