Evening Prayer – 17 April 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

How quickly the new day dawns 

With work and ordinary things

Yet on this day, the disciples were still stunned

The women were still pondering

Long ago this day was so unusual

Today it is another ordinary day

Yet, is it?

Lord, help us to continue to ponder and pray

Help us to discern your presence with us today 

Walk with us on this journey

Renew us, equip us, to serve you by serving one another

Help us to see all people as our sisters, our brothers 

With that in mind, we lift this heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
