Evening Prayer – 16 April 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

For your presence Lord, throughout this Holy season, I thank you

For your everlasting love, I thank you

For the energy and spirit and passion shared by so many, I thank you

For the honor of walking with you, Jesus

Through the Wilderness 

Through the Suffering

Through the Passion

Through your final moments on the Cross

Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough

Continue to walk with us, I pray

As we encounter our own Wilderness times

As we seek to share your love with others

As we seek to be an alternative to the world’s hate

As we seek to be an alternative to the world’s fear

As we seek to be an alternative to the world’s violence

Lord, make us instruments of your peace

Lord, make us instruments of your love

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
