Evening Prayer – 14 April 2017
The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
A long and emotionally draining day
Meeting you at the Cross, O Lord
Being haunted by so many memories
Being haunted by so much pain and anguish
Lord, as I looked upon your cross
Lord, as I heard your last gasps for air
Lord, as I heard your last words
It is finished
I lifted up my tear stained face
I let out a guttural cry from the depths
Oh for the love of all that is holy, God
Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra
Grant Us Peace on Earth
